765-Feet Summit Brickell Enters Construction Permitting: Major Step Towards Development

Summit Brickell, a planned 65-story high-rise in Miami’s Brickell district, has moved into the construction permitting phase, marking a significant step toward its development.

A permit application for the project was submitted to Miami-Dade County in late February and is currently under review. Turner Construction has been identified as the general contractor overseeing the build. Prior to this, zoning approvals for the tower were completed by county officials at the end of last year.

Poised to rise 750 feet, Summit Brickell will feature 505 residential units, ample ground-level retail space, and a 500 space parking podium garage. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also granted approval for both the building’s final height and a temporary construction crane reaching 989 feet.

Further details regarding construction timelines and other milestones are expected in the near future.
